Michael Brandofino: Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Brandofino was appointed to the helm of Glowpoint in April 2006. He was formerly the Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President. He is considered to be one of the foremost leading visionaries throughout the video conferencing and video communication industries, and was named as a finalist in the New Jersey Technical Councils top CIO/CTO of the year in 2005. Mr. Brandofino has been instrumental in bringing advanced theories and technologies to life at Glowpoint, and has also been recognized for fathering many of the recently introduced advanced video communication features that have allowed IP-based video communications to catch up with the more mature voice-over-IP market.
Mr. Brandofino joined Glowpoint in October 2000, when his company, the Johns Brook Company, was acquired. Mr. Brandofino served as President of Johns Brook Company beginning in 1998, where he refocused the company from a Network Consulting business to a video-centric organization providing video-over-IP solutions. From 1988 to 1998, he held several positions within Johns Brook, including SVP of Network Consulting and board of directors member from 1995. He was a co-founder and on the board of directors of Face to Face Communications, a video equipment reseller that was acquired by the Johns Brook Company in 1997. During the time Mr. Brandofino ran JBC's consulting business, he held various high level technical positions including acting VP of Global Infrastructure for Ohmeda Pharmaceutical and acting Director of Technical Integration for Mergers and Acquisitions for GT Interactive Software. Mr. Brandofino has a BBA of MIS from Pace University.
Joseph Laezza: President & Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Laezza oversees the company's overall operation. Mr. Laezza joined Glowpoint with more than 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, most recently as Vice President of Network Operations for Con Edison Communications, where he was responsible for the company's network operations, including service delivery and deployment. Prior to his position at Con Edison, Mr. Laezza held management positions at a number of telecommunications service providers, including AT&T and XO Communications where he was responsible for operations, service delivery, and customer service efforts. He has completed undergrad studies in Telecom Management at Denver University, management course at USC Center for Telecom Management, and completed several graduate level courses in business management from NYU.
Edwin Heinen: Chief Financial Officer & Executive Vice President of Finance
Mr. Heinen joined Glowpoint in 2005 and is currently Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Finance. He has more than 25 years of financial experience in public and private companies, most recently as the Chief Financial Officer for Communications Network Enhancement, an audio conferencing company. Mr. Heinen obtained a CPA while working for Deloitte & Touche. He has a BS from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Detroit.
David W. Robinson: Executive Vice President - Business Development, General Counsel, & Corporate Secretary
As Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Mr. Robinson is a key component of Glowpoint's restructuring plan, designed to reduce and control costs. In addition to having proven legal and business talents, Mr.Robinson has a history of diligently managing budgets and controlling legal expenses.
Mr. Robinson most recently served as Vice President and General Counsel of Con Edison Communications from August 2001 until March 17, 2006, when Con Edison Communications was purchased by RCN Corporation from Con Edison, Inc. Mr. Robinson earned his Juris Doctorate from Boston College Law School and B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania (magna cum laude).
