HILLSIDE, N.J. June 4, 2009 - Glowpoint, Inc. (OTCBB: GLOW), a leading provider of advanced video communications solutions, today announced that it will be demonstrating its Telepresence interExchange Network ("TEN"), the world's leading business-to-business telepresence and video conferencing meeting exchange, at booth #3581 at InfoComm in Orlando, Florida on June 17, 2009.
"Following up on our recent announcement with Polycom regarding the expansion of TEN, we are very excited to demonstrate the B2B Exchange live on the InfoComm show floor," said Glowpoint President and Co-CEO Joe Laezza. "We'll demonstrate the capabilities for organizations around the world to seamlessly and securely connect and collaborate on video with other businesses on other networks using the Exchange. If a business is seeking to reduce travel, support green strategies, or improve collaboration with customers, we encourage them to see TEN live at the show. The message is simple: companies can now maximize their investment in telepresence and video conferencing by communicating internally and externally regardless of the network or technology they are using."
For nearly ten years, Glowpoint has been serving and supporting tens of thousands of video users. TEN currently has more than 6,200 systems interconnected, with over 750 public room communities available and more than 650 companies directly connected.
Mr. Laezza, and other Glowpoint representatives will be speaking in several venues at InfoComm, including panel participation on "What's Next for Telepresence?" at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 17, in room W314A-B. The event is hosted by the Interactive Multimedia and Collaborative Communications Alliance (IMCCA) as a forum for end users to address timely topics, to network with potential partners, customers and vendors, and to learn how to make sound collaborative conferencing technology decisions.
