Glowpoint Provides Video Communications at Annual Blu-ray Industry Conference, Featuring Martin Scorsese
Renowned filmmaker's keynote address presented via live video from New York City to conference attendees in Los Angeles

HILLSIDE, N.J. Nov. 5, 2009 - Glowpoint, Inc. (OTCBB: GLOW), a leading provider of managed services for telepresence and video conferencing, today announced it provided a solution to present featured keynote speaker filmmaker Martin Scorsese in New York to an audience in Los Angeles as part of the home entertainment industry's second annual Blu-ray conference, called Blu-Con 2.0, on Tuesday, November 3, 2009.

Glowpoint's solution involved a high-definition, two-way interactive video session, established through Glowpoint's video cloud (known as "TEN"), which enabled the Academy Award-winning director to present from the Director's Guild of America offices in New York City to 450 event attendees in Beverly Hills, California. The annual event is specifically designed to bring together a variety of creative, marketing, and business experts from across the entertainment, IT, and consumer electronics industries to discuss Blu-ray's role in today’s home entertainment environment.

Glowpoint has provided remote connectivity for entertainment-related events in the past, such as Lionsgate Films' "Peaceful Warrior" premier. During that event, theatergoers located in California, Arizona, Washington, and Oregon were connected via a video call with actor Nick Nolte and guest motivational speaker Tony Robbins for an interactive community discussion of the film following its first commercial screening.
