GlowPoint Launches Private Label IP-Video Service in Australia

 “Lisa,” The Video Call Assistant, Goes Live Down Under;

Global Australian Company Extends Services to 14 Locations Worldwide

HILLSIDE, N.J., October 20, 2004 -- GlowPoint, Inc. (OTC: GLOW.PK), the world’s leading broadcast quality IP-based video communications service provider, today announced its second private label partnership with the launch of Visionnet powered by GlowPoint. Visionnet is Australia’s dedicated IP-based network for multipoint bridging and gateway services provided by Integrated Vision, Australia’s leading video conferencing solution provider.

GlowPoint’s relationship with Integrated Vision, announced in December 2004, initially provided Visionnet customers with access to GlowPoint’s patent pending applications and features that make video communications as easy and spontaneous as using the telephone. The GlowPoint-enabled Visionnet network has also been providing interconnection to virtually any other video user worldwide to Australian based customers.

“Lisa” Says G’Day Mate

By private labeling GlowPoint’s IP-video feature set, Integrated Vision now offers customers a complete and seamless Visionnet-branded user experience.  Through an automatic upgrade of the existing GlowPoint branded services, Visionnet customers will now instantly connect with a native Australian version of “Lisa,” a pre-recorded Video Call Assistant who “speaks the language” of Visionnet customers and directs subscribers to an interactive video menu for customer communications, marketing and other branding opportunities.

Australian based subscribers can also connect directly to the Visionnet Live Video Operator Center for real-time assistance by dialing “234” from any Visionnet powered by GlowPoint location.  The “234” Operator Center is the Australian version of Glowpoint’s “000” Live Video Operator Service.  Video Call Mailboxes and other features are also fully branded for a Visionnet customer experience.

“Our GlowPoint-enabled customers have already changed their use of video by integrating it more closely into their everyday business.  Our combined solution makes it easy and cost effective to connect from Australia to virtually anyone, anywhere in the world,” said Graham Williams, managing director of Integrated Vision.  “By introducing the new Visionnet branded solution specifically designed for the Australian market, we are enhancing the services, improving the customer experience and differentiating our video solution.”

The Visionnet powered by GlowPoint service is the latest private label partnership for GlowPoint since its launch of a Sony branded version earlier this year for Sony Electronics in the United States.

Australian-Based Customers Expand Use of IP-Video Services

One of the first Australian companies to subscribe to the Visionnet powered by GlowPoint service is now adding it’s 14th location by “lighting up” its Milan, Italy office with a GlowPoint connection.  The company, a global organization headquartered in Australia, initially GlowPoint-enabled its Visionnet service in its offices in Sydney and Melbourne with the launch of the partnership between GlowPoint and Integrated Vision.  Since the first two sites came on line, the customer has increased its use of Visionnet and GlowPoint by adding full GlowPoint services to office locations in the U.S., as well as in Canada, China, Japan, Singapore and the U.K.  They have also added two additional sites in Australia.

“Our partnership with Integrated Vision in Australia was developed to generate new customer opportunities on a global scale,” stated David Trachtenberg, president and CEO of GlowPoint.  “We’ve already seen how a single site in Australia can quickly turn into multiple locations worldwide.  With the private labeling of ‘Lisa’ and the GlowPoint video services, we anticipate even further integration into the Visionnet customer base.”

Visionnet powered by GlowPoint has demonstration facilities in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.  To meet “Lisa” and see the new Australian version of the Video Call Assistant service, please go to www.glowpoint.com/visionnet.
