Upcoming Shuttle Launch to Be Covered by Major Television Network Using Glowpoint’s Broadcast Solution

Network to permanently install Glowpoint IP Video Connection at headquarters

 

HILLSIDE, NJ. June 28, 2006 -- Glowpoint, Inc. (OTC:GLOW .PK), a world leading broadcast-quality IP-based video managed service provider announced today that its broadcast solution has been selected by a major television network to cover the upcoming shuttle launch, which is scheduled for July 1, 2006. Additionally, an agreement has been signed to permanently install a Glowpoint IP video connection to the network’s broadcast headquarters in New York . The Glowpoint IP connection may be used for various events during the next year.

 

The network will be leveraging Glowpoint’s broadcast event experience and broadcast quality IP video services in order to provide live and recorded coverage from the Johnson Space Center in Houston during space shuttle Discovery’s trip to and from the international space station.
