Prestigious Top 50 Law Firm Glowpoint Enables Its Network
Deal estimated at $15K in monthly recurring revenue
HILLSIDE, N.J. January 10, 2007 Glowpoint, Inc. (OTC:GLOW.PK), a leading broadcast-quality, IP-based managed video service provider announced today that another large law firm has selected Glowpoints full range of managed video services. The firm will be leveraging the flexible Glowpoint Enabled Solution, by which the Glowpoint services are delivered across the firms private enterprise network.
The Glowpoint Enabled Solution, allows customers to connect their private networks in a secure fashion to Glowpoints high-quality video network and service platform. Once the network is connected, all of the customers video systems are registered with the Glowpoint service platform and receive their own 10-digit video numbers and have access to all of Glowpoints unique video communication service offerings, including gateway access for ISDN off-net calling, on-demand and assisted multi-party video conference calls, live video Operator service, and video mail mailboxes, among other unique services and features. This customer will be using Glowpoints Enabled services at seven locations in the United States and one in Europe.
In the past, customers have been under the impression that Glowpoint would only provide and services over the Glowpoint network, said Michael Brandofino, Glowpoints president and CEO. In this case, the customer is leveraging a VPN provided by Savvis which shows how Glowpoint enables customers to leverage their own network, while gaining the benefits of using Glowpoint for managed video services.
Glowpoint continues to gain market share in the legal sector. Currently, more than 40 law firms use Glowpoint, of which 11 are among the largest 50 firms in the United States, as ranked by Internet Legal Research Group.
