GLOWPOINT INKS THREE BROADCAST DEALS EXPECTED TO ADD $2 MILLION IN REVENUE OVER 2 YEARS

HILLSIDE, N.J. March 29, 2007 Glowpoint, Inc. (OTC:GLOW.PK), a leading broadcast-quality, IP-based managed video service provider, today announced it has signed three new two-year deals in the broadcast sector anticipated to drive over $2 million in new revenue over the life of the agreements.

Each of the deals encompasses Glowpoints Broadcast solution, which combines the companys award-winning managed video services and network to enable high quality acquisition of content from remote locations. This content is used for live broadcast, tape to air, and distribution via broadband.

The introduction of Glowpoints HD (high definition) Telepresence solution tailored for Broadcast applications is being named Team-CamHD and is a catalyst in driving growth in the broadcast sector. Glowpoints service allows unparalleled Telepresence quality and reliability at a fraction of the cost of other methods of content acquisition because Glowpoint attains HD quality at only 2 Megabits Per Second (Mbps) of bandwidth per video call while other Telepresence solutions use 6 Mbps of bandwidth or more.

HD and Telepresence are hot topics and key buzzwords in the video industry today but most of that buzz centers around very expensive video equipment integrated into custom built executive boardrooms and doesnt include a fully managed service, said Glowpoints CEO, Michael Brandofino. Glowpoint is actually delivering the Telepresence experience in real world applications with a complete managed solution. These new deals are continued proof of Glowpoints ability to drive adoption of video communications outside of the boardroom.

Telepresence is a term used to describe an environment where participants are immersed in a high quality face-to-face experience that is easy to use and the technology does not intrude on the conversation. The solutions are typically a combination of HD video equipment and high quality networks. Glowpoint is one of the only service providers positioned to support any of the Telepresence equipment solutions on the market today and supports all video standards and any bandwidth up to and beyond 6 Mbps per call.
