Glowpoint Presents White Paper on Managed Services for Telepresence
To be distributed at InfoComm 2008 and at www.glowpoint.com
HILLSIDE, N.J. June 18, 2008 Glowpoint, Inc. (OTC:GLOW.OB) a premiere, IP-based managed video communications services provider, announced that it will be distributing a new White Paper on the Role of Managed Services for Telepresence at InfoComm 2008 in Las Vegas, NV. The paper will be distributed at Glowpoints booth, #C2969, and online at www.glowpoint.com beginning on June 18th.
The paper is designed to give people new to telepresence an understanding of the evolution of telepresence, the difference between telepresence and video conferencing, and the importance of managed services for telepresence environments. The paper also identifies the services and skill sets that should be considered when choosing a firm to manage telepresence.
We are pleased to present this white paper at a time when many people are investigating and considering the implementation of telepresence in their organization, said Glowpoints President and COO, Joe Laezza. Through many conversations with telepresence users, we were able to identify what information would be most helpful to end users in order for them to maximize the telepresence investment. We are excited to share this knowledge with the industry and businesses around the world.
