Joseph Laezza
President and Chief Executive OfficerJoe joined Glowpoint in 2004 and has driven the company's transformation from its legacy business in the video conferencing industry into a leading global provider of managed services for telepresence and unified communications today. He initially joined the company as Vice President of Operations, was appointed COO in 2006, president in 2008, co-CEO and President in 2009, and now is President and CEO since July 2010.
With more than 17 years of experience in the telecommunications, video technology, and managed services industry, he is a business executive with broad experience in high-profile sales and strategic partnering, mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, strategic marketing and product development, and customer / business operations.
Prior to joining Glowpoint, he served in executive and management positions at Con Edison Communications in New York City, AT&T (through acquisition of TCG) in NY/NJ and Denver, CO, and XO Communications in NY/NJ region.

Anil Balani
Senior Vice President, Technology
Anil joined Glowpoint as senior vice president of technology in 2010 to oversee all aspects of R&D and product management and engineering, with a key focus on advancing Glowpoint's telepresence and video cloud computing portfolio.
He has more than 17 years of experience in convergent technologies, voice and video over IP, at both large and startup ventures and has held several leadership roles at UTC Associates, Global Crossing, AT&T/Teleport Communications Group, and Texas Instruments. Anil's experience and accomplishments include developing mobility and collaborative applications, building nationwide IP networks, launching one of the first integrated voice-and-data services, and developing crucial defense applications. He also founded several companies including Vonair, Netria Systems (a Broadsoft joint venture), and CoVobbe
Anil earned his B.S. from New York University, his B.E.E. from Cooper Union, his M.S. and M.S.E.E. from Southern Methodist University, and his M.B.A. from University of Dallas.

Michael Hubner
General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Michael joined Glowpoint in 2010 as general counsel and corporate secretary. He has more than 12 years of experience representing companies in the telecommunications industry. Prior to Glowpoint, he served as general counsel and corporate secretary for FiberNet Telecom, until the company was acquired by Zayo Group. Prior to FiberNet, he was an associate at the law firms of Mintz Levin and O'Sullivan Graev in New York City.
Michael earned his J.D. from the New York University School of Law and his B.A. from Lafayette College.

John R. McGovern
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
John joined Glowpoint in November of 2010 as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He has more than 25 years experience in corporate finance for leading Unified Communications and Telecommunications firms, and is a member of the Board of Directors for Affinity Federal Credit Union and is Chairman of their Supervisory Committee.
Prior to Glowpoint, John was the Group Finance Vice President for Avaya. At Avaya, he was the chief financial executive accountable for roughly half the revenue and profits for the company, and played a key role in executing the privatization of Avaya with Silver Lake and Texas Pacific Group, two leading private investment firms. Prior to Avaya, he held senior level posts at Lucent technologies, where he was ultimately accountable for a majority of Lucent's revenue. Prior to Lucent, he held a number of finance positions at AT&T, including director of finance where he was part of the IPO team for the Lucent divestiture.
John earned a B.A. from Kean University and completed the international executive program at Penn State University.

Darren Podrabsky
Vice President, Marketing and Channels
Darren brings nearly 20 years of marketing management experience at Hewlett Packard to the Glowpoint team. He has held a wide variety of positions in marketing, including product and channel management, product
marketing, public and analyst relations, sales support, and marketing program management.
Prior to joining Glowpoint, Darren was the Worldwide Channels Marketing Manager for HP's Visual Collaboration products, where he was instrumental in launching the inaugural U.S. distributor and value added reseller program for those products. Prior to this, he served as the Worldwide Marketing Manager for the HP Halo Telepresence products, where he successfully launched multiple new telepresence endpoints and managed services while helping to secure several new Fortune 500 accounts. He also served as the Worldwide Category Manager for HP's Digital Projection and Imaging Business, where his team was able to increase sell through volumes by more than 50% year over year while signing multiple new public sector accounts.
Darren earned his Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University, and an M.B.A. from Portland State University.

Tolga Sakman
Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy
Tolga joined Glowpoint in 2011 and is responsible for Corporate Development initiatives and overall corporate strategy. He has more than 15 years of experience in directing corporate development and M&A initiatives, strategic alliances, market research and competitive intelligence operations, industry and financial analyst relations, strategic and financial planning and analysis for global enterprises.
Prior to joining Glowpoint, Tolga was with the TelePresence Technology Group of Cisco, working on Market Development initiatives. He joined Cisco through the TANDBERG acquisition, and was instrumental in setting the regulatory approval strategy for the Cisco/TANDBERG deal. He is considered an expert in Unified Communications, Video Conferencing and Telepresence industries, participants and the underlying technologies.
Tolga earned his MBA in Strategy and Entrepreneurial Finance from Penn State University, his M.Sc. in Engineering from University of Cincinnati and his B.Sc. in Engineering from Orta Dogu Teknik Universitesi in Turkey.

Thomas P. Schroeder
Senior Vice President, Operations
As Glowpoint's Senior Vice President of Operations, Tom leads the vision and strategy for delivering world class customer service to Glowpoint's customers and partners. Tom is responsible for all operational aspects of Glowpoint's global cloud managed services, including service realization, network implementation, maintenance, service support and vendor relations.
Tom joined Glowpoint in 2005 as Director of Service Operations and was appointed to Vice President of Operations in 2008. Prior to joining Glowpoint, Tom spent over 10 years in Telecommunications delivering and supporting voice and data services. In 1999, Tom joined Con Edison Communications (now Sidera Networks) as one of the subsidiaries founding members, serving as Managing Director of Customer Operations, where he successfully built a service organization from inception focused on the delivery of data and voice services. Tom has also held management and technical positions at NEON Communications (now Sidera Networks), Nextlink Communication (now XO Communications), AT&T and Teleport Communications Group.
Tom earned a BSAE degree from West Virginia University.

Stephen K. Vobbe
Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing
As Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Glowpoint, Stephen Vobbe leads Worldwide Sales, Channels, Marketing, Analyst Relations and Business Development. He is also a member of the executive committee, which sets strategic direction for Glowpoint.
Stephen has more than 17 years experience leading international business development for technology companies. He has broad experience working in high-growth businesses including sales, marketing, mergers and acquisitions, solution development and strategic alliances.
Prior to joining Glowpoint, Stephen was the Director of the TelePresence Solutions team for Cisco. He joined Cisco through the TANDBERG acquisition where he was instrumental in driving TANDBERG's growth through key strategic alliances and leading TANDBERG's entrance into the Unified Communications market.
Stephen earned his B.A. in Economics from Otterbein College in Westerville, OH.
